Rebuilding Hope: Home Restoration for Flood Affected Communities

This initiative focuses on restoring homes for families devastated by the recent floods in Bangladesh. Our efforts were centered on helping rebuild broken homes, providing a foundation for affected communities to recover and rebuild their lives. By directly supporting the reconstruction of damaged houses, we aimed to offer stability and a renewed sense of hope for those who lost their shelter. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to helping communities in need, ensuring that no one faces the aftermath of disaster alone.

Establishment of a Madrasa for the Orphanage and Unprivileged Children

The Adifa Memorial Trust has designated funds for the Fultola Madrasa to support the construction of a second floor in its main building. This enhancement will facilitate the housing of an extra 100 orphaned and underprivileged children, providing them with opportunities for Arabic education.

Educational Scholarship Program

We offer assistance to students by covering expenses such as books, tuition, boarding, examination fees, and, when required, clothing. This support is based on applications we receive from RMG workers for their children’s educational needs.

Distribution of Food and New Clothing Amongst Unprivileged Children

As a part of the iftar program, the Adifa Memorial Trust distributed new clothes to underprivileged street children and orphan children in Narayanganj and Tangail. Through this program, the Trust provided new attire to approximately 100 children.

Distribution of Lungis to rickshaw drivers and poor security guards

Adifa Memorial Trust recently provided lungis to rickshaw pullers and economically disadvantaged security guards in Sector 13, Uttara, Dhaka. In a move to uphold the dignity of the recipients, the Trust consciously chose not to photograph the event. The lungis were distributed as unexpected gifts, ensuring the exchange was both impactful and respectful.

Dengue prevention and awareness program

Adifa Memorial Trust has intensified its dengue prevention efforts by donating a dengue disinfectant sprayer van and necessary supplies to combat mosquito larvae in Uttara, in collaboration with Uttara Sector 13 Kallayan Samity. Additionally, in partnership with Sammilito Samajik Andolon in Tangail, the Trust conducted a leaflet distribution campaign, reaching approximately 10,000 individuals. The campaign also involved distributing 5,000 informative leaflets during Juma prayers and displaying educational banners in Uttara Sector 13 to further raise dengue awareness.

Adifa Memorial Trust Blood Bank

Adifa Memorial Trust has marked a significant achievement with the creation of the Adifa Memorial Trust Blood Bank, realized through extensive social awareness campaigns and donor recruitment efforts. The primary goal of this program is to accumulate a pool of donors and link them with people suffering from dengue and other critical illnesses. Currently, the Trust boasts around 200 registered donors and has played a pivotal role in assisting dengue patients by organizing vital blood donations, making a substantial impact in the community.
